Well, it seems that we haven't posted anything for a long time. Apologies to you all. In the Epp household we've been doing fairly well. We had a great easter, making a delicious ham and doing some work on ye olde railing.
For those of you not familiar - I tore down a wall in our house to put a railing up instead - and that was about a year ago. It's been quite a while and I think Amy is growing tired of the 'urban project' aesthetic. Anyhow - we finally got some of the supplies we needed and have been making a bit of progress over the last few weeks. By the time John is crawling, he should be safe in the kitchen. I suppose there still isn't a stair gate or anything, so he won't really be safe, but we will feel like he's safer - and that's what counts.
He's been rolling over more and more - and starting to attempt sitting up.
He's not very good at either task, but it's fun to watch him.
Last night we went to Amy's cousin Saralee's house and John got to play with their dog Cooper. He got licked in the face and seemed very intent on trying to grab the dog and pull it closer. Cooper wasn't so impressed though he was very gentle. :^)
