This is the blog of John and Micah and David Epp. They are all very advanced for their ages, so you might want to check this regularly to see what they are up to.

This and that
Hi everyone. Not much new to report. We are fast approaching John's first birthday and I'm really trying to get his first word in by then, so we're pretty busy ;)
Today at supper, we were saying the "Come, Lord Jesus" prayer, and directly afterwards John mumbled a whole bunch of "j" sounding sounds in rapid succession, paused, and then said "ah-mah". Don't know if he was mimicking or not, but it sounded for all the world like he was saying the prayer (sounding a whole lot like when my Grandpa Engel would quietly and quickly rattle the whole prayer off in German).
John and I went to a pet store today for some fun. John just about exploded he was so excited. Everyone in the store was laughing when they saw him. His favourite thing was the boring fish that you see when you first walk in the store. Second favourite were the birds (finches, in particular).
We're social butterflies for the next little while, finishing off with John's birthday party next weekend. We thought about doing a big party, but in the end thought it would be best for John (and me) if we kept things small, so we're just doing a family shin-dig. Should be fun. The Engel Grandparents will come up, as well as his Aunties. Oma Epp is even trying to see if she can make it up. As well, John's honourary Uncle Bruce and new Auntie Michelle are there to spice things up.
Here are a few pics. Have a great weekend.
