This is the blog of John and Micah and David Epp. They are all very advanced for their ages, so you might want to check this regularly to see what they are up to.

Not Much New
I thought I should give you the latest round of pictures. There's not much new since last time. John is now 13 months old and has a bad case of Montezuma's Revenge (what did he even do to Montezuma? He won't tell me). My hands are cracked and bleeding just from the hand washing after changing his diapers. He had a pretty horrible case of diaper rash, but Cam and I prayed for him and it was almost all gone in the morning (how cool is that? God cares about our bums, too).
John loves the CD player we got him for his birthday. We mostly play Christmas music, and he particularly likes to dance to Bing Crosby. He bounces up and down, and sometimes swings his arms. One day I left the room to do something while he was dancing. When I came back 3 minutes later, he was still dancing :) He's not supposed to touch the CD player (in case it falls on his head), but I caught him trying to change CDs the other day :) I had to try not to laugh as I was giving him his "time out". This is our current discipline favourite. If he does something he's not supposed to, we say "time out" and put him in his crib - he gets very sad, usually, and then less than a minute later, we pick him up. He's always ready with a kiss and a hug (one time he thought he could forego the time-out by trying to kiss me while I was transporting him to his time out - it almost worked). Most of the time, this puts a stop to whatever he was doing.
On Thursday mornings, John and I go to a women's program at Centre Street Church. John "gets to" go to the nursery, which he tolerates. Once he stops crying when I leave him - usually about a minute later, though one time they had to bring him to me because he wouldn't stop crying :( - the workers tell me that he just plays by himself and pushes them away if they try to play with him. I think he's just ticked off and isn't going to give anyone the pleasure of his company while his mom is gone.
That's about it. Here's a little video of John enjoying the sled. Enjoy your week!
