This is the blog of John and Micah and David Epp. They are all very advanced for their ages, so you might want to check this regularly to see what they are up to.

Almost Home
Well, we've now officially been on the road for three weeks. I'm definitely ready to be home, though we have had a great time visiting everyone. I'll post pictures when we get home. For now, I thought I'd update you on our Canadian leg of the holiday.
Our trip home was mostly uneventful. We woke up at 3:45 am in Birmingham to catch the bus to Manchester so we'd be there in time for our flight. Turns out it was unnecessary, as our flight ended up taking off 7.5 hours after the scheduled time. We actually did okay in the airport for that long time - thanks so much to Mom Epp for the sandwiches she sent with us :)
We got into Vancouver around 10pm, got to the place we were staying around midnight, and were soon fast asleep. The amazing thing? We all slept until around 6am. John hasn't had a full wakeup at night since we got back. Yay!
So far we have celebrated Trevor's 30th bday, visited the Schmidt Grandparents, and had a nice supper, fire (the marshmallow roasting kind, not the call 9-1-1 kind), and breakfast with Cam's uncles and aunts: Len & Jen, and Mark & Chris. Now we're in Lethbridge and had a nice convocation ceremony for Saralee. We're getting ready to head to Grandma Epps for lunch, and tonight is a banquet for the nursing graduates. Tomorrow morning, Trevor will take us home. It's been a great trip. John has proven to be an excellent traveller and completely flexible as long as he gets lots of attention (no shortage of that on this trip). I think my belly has gotten ten times bigger since we left, which means that I'm a good traveller, too :)
Anyway, it's time to start looking after my own child again. Take care.
