Just a Little Update

Hello all. The last three weeks have been quite uneventful. A big change, though has been Cam's month-long leave of absence from his regular job at EDS to try teaching English. It has been a big adjustment for all of us, but I think I can say for everyone that it is going well. Interesting from the home side of things is that Cam has the car all day so John and I are pretty much home bound. We go for lots of walks to the playground, and even ventured out on the bus yesterday to visit a little friend of John's (okay, and I like the mom, too). We've spent a fair bit of time in the yard, too, and have put in a little flower garden that you'll see glimpses of in the pictures. John has been very good at trying not to step on the flowers, but it happens every now and then, anyway. Other developments? Mostly full-blown sentences for John now, like "where she going" when he saw our neighbour leaving the house and "hurt I-self" this morning when he bonked his head and wanted some sympathy. On the baby front, it has decided to occupy most of the space my lungs used to inhabit, and I have to focus in order to breathe properly. Baby moves like crazy now - will I have another busy little baby? We'll see. Shayna is coming up for a visit tonight and will stay for the next few days. I'm really looking forward to it. Oh! Just heard a thump from upstairs. No crying, but I'd better check it out. Have a nice week.
