Micah James Epp comes home
Well, we're back with a baby. Micah James was born just before 11 on September 6. He was 8lbs, 4oz. and I forget how long he was. 21" I think. Right after he was born he wasn't breathing - maybe because of the morphine that Amy had??? - so they had to use the oxygen bag and do chest compressions (CPR). He woke up shortly and his heart was never really stopped, so it seems like he'll be fine. They kept him in the 'Special Care' unit for a while just to monitor his vitals. He was there about 6 hours and then they moved him in with Amy. Then John and Aunt Shayna came to visit as well.
Anyway, that's about it. Mom and baby are both healthy and happy, although a little sleep deprived. Here are some pictures if you're into that sort of thing.
