Well, my doctor informs me that the more colds and flus a child gets before age 5, the lower chance they have of getting leukemia. I guess that can be my consolation :) Cam and the boys got sick a couple of weeks ago, started getting better, and then Cam and John got sick again. I was bragging to my doctor of my awesome immune system and she said "just wait till they start getting better - you'll crash." She was sort of right: as they started getting a bit better, I got sick, and now we're all coming out of it together. This last week has been a bit scattered, but I'm optimistic about the next week.
Here are some pictures from the beginning of March until now. Nothing terribly exciting - just cute boys.
In development, Micah has gotten very stable in sitting up, and has started to be very interested in walking around. He'll only take about ten steps before he gets bored, but he sure knows how to move his legs to get to where he wants to go.
John has really taken off with trying to read. He points to words and asks what they say, points out words he knows, and will ask us to point out a word that we've just read. He doesn't always get the letter-order right, but he knows which letters belong in the words. He'll even pick the letters out of bigger words. At this point, he recognizes: no, John, Micah, Epp, do, to, zoo, police, for, God, "oh no", boo, ... I think I'm missing a couple.
I'm tired. Have a good night :)

I was ridiculously behind on your blog. Oh. My. Goodness. You've been having adventures (We'd heard a wee bit about John's arm from Cam the other night...)! You sound very cheery and positive about it all. Bravo! :)
And if you're not cheery or positive, BRAVO! for soldiering on, Mum. That's got to be tough when your kiddo prefers the hardward store to home? *sigh* lol.
