A ton of video and pictures

First things first: here is the link to the pictures and video. I accidentally uploaded 81 items, so beware :)
I'm going to copy a John story from an email I sent to our families just because it's so funny to me:

All the doors here can lock from either side using a key. You have to use a key in the bathroom, so we just leave it on the inside. Well (can you see where this is going?), John was using the bathroom and decided to try locking the door. At first I didn’t realize he was gone. Then I looked around the house for him. Then I knocked on the bathroom door and asked who was in there. John replied “I locked the door.” I asked him to unlock it, but he said he couldn’t. I tried explaining ways to get it open, but he wasn’t able to. I decided to hold the “you should never lock the door” discussion after he was out – I had to focus my brain. These are very heavy doors, the hinges are on the inside, and there’s no way I could pick the lock like the bathroom doors back in Canada. So, after ten minutes of various attempts to get the door open, I hear John’s little voice, alive with a new discovery, say “Maybe I shouldn’t have locked the door!” I was still giggling to myself five minutes later when I kicked open the door and John finally emerged.

Besides that, Micah is talking in sentences now, singing a lot, telling stories (one word at a time, but if he says a word and we show interest, he'll tell us more and more. It's pretty cute.), and reminding us that it's only 4 months until his 2nd birthday. He is growing up very quickly now, and becoming more and more independent around the house. I'll often find him in the living room with a book, just flipping pages quietly.

He's got the whiteboard marker, so I'd better go. Have a lovely May!
