There and Back Again

We are now on day seven back in Yemen. We had a great time in Canada for the weddings, and the boys have done amazingly adjusting to jet lag (twice) and being around lots of excitement. Some highlights for the boys for the last while include:
  • being ring bearers for their Auntie Saralee's wedding.
  • dancing until 11:30pm at their Uncle Kerrie's reception
  • hanging out with lots of people who completely spoiled them
  • getting to fly on Emirates airlines on the way back to Yemen. They got treated well and left the plane with a ton of new stuff (amazing airline to fly with kids).
What are the boys up to these days? Well, John likes to spell things while he talks. Like "Mom, I'm D-O-N-E my food". Micah has tried to copy him once or twice with "N-O Johnny!" Micah has been putting together some amazing sentences lately, like "Mommy, will you get me some water?" We've been doing "school" for a few minutes each morning this last week, with the boys sitting at the table and doing stuff with letters, scissors, and then an "experiment" in the kitchen from this really cool science book for kids. Today it was edible - not bad.
Besides that they are mostly cute and smart. Here are some pictures to back it up. Have a great week!
Amy
