In David news, he's smiling a lot lately and trying to talk more and more. It's pretty sweet when he just looks at someone and coos at them. The big boys love it, and so does any adult lucky enough to be the object of his attentions.
We went in for our last midwife appointment, and at 6 1/2 weeks, David weighed 11 lb, 12 oz. Good work, little man :) He's managing about an hour between feedings when he's awake (longer if he's with his dad), and 2-3 hours at night. He's getting nice and fat.
He also discovered kicking in the bathtub last night. He stayed in the big tub for about 30 minutes and just kicked the whole time, smiling in between. We have purchased swim diapers for him and are hopeful he'll like swimming, too.
This afternoon we'll be picking up Mom Epp, who is stopping for a few days on her way to help Daniel and Lisa with our boys' very first cousin. She's not born yet, but it could be any day now. We're so excited!
Cam heads off to Texas tomorrow, and so I will be a work-widow for a week. We'll see how we survive.
That's about it for now. Hope you're all doing well and enjoying spring (even if most of us have snow).
