Well, I thought I'd hardly taken any pictures this last month, but it seems there are one or two. We've had a busy while of it, getting ready for Halloween and John's birthday, having Thanksgiving weekend at the farm, and then just keeping three sweet boys busy. It's been fun. I actually got out the sewing machine and made the big boys their costumes. John has had his family birthday party, but his "friends party" is coming up this weekend. Updates on the boys...hmmm...
David is not crawling but I keep thinking that he's almost there. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks a bit, can move himself in a circle and roll around quite handily, and pushes himself backwards. We're noticing that he seems to be aware of what we say, so I've started signing a few things to him to get that going. He smiles like crazy when we get the camera out - it's almost like he's posing for us.
Micah is sick right now, so he's definitely not his usual chipper self. He cried tonight when I wiped tears off his face and said "I want to feel sorry for myself!" But, usually he's so fun. He has been one superhero or another most of the last month - he invented "Paper Clip" and "Power Boy". The former shoots lasers from his eyes and the latter basically has every power that every other superhero has, but more. He has listed being invisible, invincible, and intangible as some of his powers. He has also started trying to read things. He knows all the letters, most of the sounds, and when he asks for something in the cupboard that he can see the label of, he tries to sound it out.
And John, well, he is still very John. He is working away on his piano, he created a survey on survey monkey today (Check it out at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6LBY9DL), he's reading Charlotte's web, he loves laughing at ridiculous things, he is interested in making things and taking other things apart, he's loving art and singing (actually singing for us a few times - he's usually too shy), and he's just generally a really nice little guy.
Cam and I are well, too, but it's getting late and I'm tired. Hope you're all well!
