More life

This weekend, uncle Daniel came to visit us - driving up from Winnipeg in his mighty Caprice Classic. He drove me around the block in it (me being Cam, not John...) and we managed to hop a couple sidewalks and end up in some lawns. It's an exciting time when you're first confronted with icy residential streets ;-) It was sure nice having him here and we missed him when he left even though there was a lot of sleeping that occurred during the visit. He did manage to play John's first rook game, beat Amy, Saralee and I at Settlers, and play the first game of 'patti-cake' with John as well. Speaking of Saralee, she was up this weekend too and even made us breakfast on Sunday morning! Hurray for visitors. Also speaking of Saralee, Amy's cousin came to visit with her whole family which was really nice. Many of these events are captured in pictures. People have been so generous to us - all the visiting and food and gifts and congratulations. We feel really loved and richly blessed.
