Monday & Tuesday

The boys are both in bed now, so I thought for once that I would be the one staying up late to use the computer. The last two days have had a much slower pace. Yesterday consisted of sleeping in until 10 (John, too!), buying 5 lbs of cherries, going for a swim (wanted to test out John's new life jacket), and then heading in to Vancouver to visit Matt and Sandra. No pics of any of this - sorry. Today, we slept in until 9:30 (yay, John), walked around with John all morning, and then headed of to White Rock in the afternoon. We headed to Peace Arch Park, a park that straddles the Canada/US border - quite lovely. Then we went to the beach in White Rock and ate deep fried dill pickles (not half bad). John was super-hyper throughout our entire meal, ate two lemon wedges, and pretty much laughed for no reason at all. Anyay, we headed over to visit my cousins, Wilf and Jane, and their daughter, Emma. John took some more honest-to-goodness-on-his-own steps (6 in a row at one point), and had fun playing with Emma.
