Happy Birthday John

I was hoping to post this right on John's birthday (October 30th), but the day was packed - John's social schedule is just so busy ;) John had a wonderful time. The Engel grandparents and Auntie Shayna came up for the weekend, we had a brunch at Uncle Bruce and Auntie Michelle's house, and then a big party on Sunday at the Olson's house (people from church). Then, he got cake at our prayer meeting on Tuesday morning, followed by photos in the afternoon, and supper with Uncle Kerrie and Soraya. He ended up going to bed at about 9pm, having run about a thousand miles between the book shelf and the kitchen table in the course of the evening. Then, there was Halloween, where John made a killing on his visits to three neighbours, Kerrie, and the Samjis (of course, there are heavy parental tariffs for various services rendered. John will end up with about 3 smarties when all is said and done). Anyhoo, here are some pictures from the last few days.
