Big Snooze at the Zoo

My father chastized me via email that we haven't updated this for awhile. I apologize. Things really do change after the first birthday. John is still amazingly cute, talented, smart, and coordinated, but we're seeing his developments right now take place in the same areas - like adding more words, getting better at going up and down stairs, etc. Here are some pictures, though, from the last few weeks. We went to the zoo and found that John really enjoyed the lights there - not fancy ones, just regular light bulbs. He was about 7 feet from two hippos and could have cared less. The most exciting thing in the whole Destination Africa building was the fish in the hippo water that eat the hippo poo. We think fish are his favourite animal right now. Anyway, hopefully there will be video of regular life on the way as well. We'll see how long it takes to upload. Have a great rest of the week!

"Lions and tigers and bears, who cares?" that's awesome... In John's defense I bet my hubby would also be looking at the rocks rather than the porcupines. Maybe he's a little geologist.
