This is the blog of John and Micah and David Epp. They are all very advanced for their ages, so you might want to check this regularly to see what they are up to.

Jolly Old England
Well, we've been here for about 24 hours now. The trip was amazing. John started out a little sad due to a very friendly taxi driver who really wanted to be John's friend (tried to pick John up, which totally freaked him out). After he recovered from the trauma, John was very excited about going on an "aiwpane wide." He was pretty much cheerful and pleasant the whole time we were travelling. After take-off, he asked to do it again. He enjoyed walking around the aisles when we could take our seat belts off, and zoomed back and forth between his mom and dad for a few hours (though I must confess that it was mostly his dad). Around 10:30 pm, we decided that no matter how happy he was, WE needed some sleep, and Cam cuddled him to sleep with a slight amount of resistance. We made a little bed for him at our feet and he slept for about 3 hours. We woke him up when the seatbelt sign came on to prepare us to land, and he was still pretty excited to be on an airplane. After landing in Manchester, we caught the bus to Birmingham, which was only slightly eventful. Cam and I hadn't been able to sleep on the plane, so we were pretty tired, while John still had a fair bit of energy. When the bus broke down about a half hour into our trip, I couldn't even organize my thoughts to pray for us to get going quickly. It was less than an hour and they had us on another bus. John got pretty tired then, and I asked him to put his head on my knee, and he just did it and fell asleep. It surprised me because he was so cheerful - usually when he's really tired he's either super-hyper or super-upset. We arrived in B'ham at about 1:30, had a quick lunch and then we all had a little sleep.
It's nice to see Cam's parents again. We came on their busiest day of the last six months - not the greatest planning on our part - but we have already got some nice visiting in.
John is napping now. His nap time is lining up nicely, but night-time might be a bit difficult for the next little while. He was up for about 3 hours last night. Hopefully jetlag won't last too long.
That's about it for now. Here are a few pictures of our trip. We hope to keep you more updated than you would care to be, so keep checking the blog :)
Cheerio.
