A Quick Note

Hello all. Just thought I'd let you all know that John slept through the night last night and has been napping at the right times. I'm not going to prematurely say he's over jetlag, but I think we're getting close. I, on the other hand, have been awake since 4:30am, with a twenty minute nap while driving (well, Cam was driving, I was supposed to be navigating). We went to Whipsnade Zoo today with friends, Kim and Ian, and their 5 month son, Noah. We had a great time seeing them again, and the zoo was really cool - totally huge. I'll try to get some pics up in the next few days. Cam's dad was brave enough to let Cam drive us the two hours to the zoo today. I thought I was brave enough to put my life and the life of my son in his hands. It turns out that Cam is an amazing driver. He just seemed to get right into it and we didn't have any big traffic faux pas as far as I could see (no one honked at us, and apparently they're quite liberal with that here). Cam is my new hero. Just to add another "awesome" point to John's tally, he flew here, and went through jetlag and adjusting to a new place WHILE TEETHING. A couple of days ago we noticed another molar just peeking through. We probably attributed any grumpiness that he had (and it wasn't much) to travelling stuff when it might have been a teething issue. I'm exhausted and going to bed now. Talk to y'all later.
