John's Nursery Rhymes and Songs

I've been meaning to put these up for a week now. We discovered about a month ago that John has entire songs and rhymes memorized (not always readily recognizable to others, though). Here are a few from a very proud mommy :) Oh yeah, John wanted a bottle for his doll, but ended up keeping it in his mouth pretty much the entire time I was taking videos. Sorry about that, but it doesn't actually alter his pronunciation much.
  1. Humpty Dumpty
  2. Rock-a-Bye Baby
  3. Deep and Wide (an old Sunday School song) - John actually tries to "sing" on this one
  4. John's "ABCD"s, as he calls them
  5. How Did Moses Cross the Red Sea (a song he learned from Grandma Epp - she may be the only person who recognizes any of the words he's saying)

Wow he has quite the vocab for a little guy. Sure is cute. Thanks for posting the videos. Our kids love watching him :) They always ask " can we see John Caleb"

( Interestingly Caleb is our first borns name, and John our second born's middle name. We wanted to Call caleb,- Caleb John, but one of my friends had a boy 6 months before us and used that name- thus he became Caleb Daniel.)

Wow, I really enjoy John's singing! I plan to show Noah tomorrow as he loves singing. Thanks for keeping us posted about life in general and we will update you soon. Take care.

Yeah - it's pretty fun seeing what he'll come up with next :) Most of the time we have to stop and try to figure out what rhyme he's saying when he goes on for a long time, but we usually get it.

Sarah, that's so funny about the name thing. I guess we both know how to pick good names ;)
