Second Child Syndrome

Well, Micah already has plenty to hold against us.  In the top ten is how often we update this blog.  Sorry for all of you who faithfully check in.  Here is the last couple months in review:
  • I am currently nursing a Gatorade to replenish my system after being hit with the Bubonic plague last night.  I just ate a whole bunch of crackers - not sure how that will turn out but I was just so hungry...
  • We hosted Cam's family for Christmas, which was quite fun.  It was nice to have Cam's parents around for a week or so around Christmas.  They helped out SO MUCH.
  • The  bedroom we added downstairs now has been painted and Cam's folks moved in just before Christmas.  Now onto the plumbing for the new bathroom...
  • On boxing day we said goodbye to Cam's family and headed to my parents' farm to catch my family before everyone dispersed.  we did lots of skidooing - lots of fun.
  • We headed off on New Years Eve to celebrate with my bro Craig, but the weather prevented us from going further than Regina.  Ended up staying with my Uncle and Auntie in Regina, which was fun, too
  • Daniel and Lisa got married just outside of Winnipeg.  That's right, we had to go to Winnipeg in January.  It was a fun weekend, and John got to be ring-bearer.  He did a great job (so cute!)
  • Came back home over three days, visiting people along the way.  It was great to see everyone, but I am so glad to be home
  • Micah rolled over from front to back for the first time on December 28th.  He is getting really good at grabbing things and bringing them to his mouth.  He is incredibly chubby.  He gets his shots next week, so it will be interesting to see how big he is (I'm guessing 16 lb)
That's about all for now.  Here are a whole bunch of pictures for your viewing pleasure.  Talk to you in another couple of months (hopefully sooner).

Wow, John got a shovel for Christmas?! Every time one I go to buy one of our nephews a gift, the hubby tells me to get a shovel, he said as a kid, that was his best present ever. I'll have to tell him.
