Micah is Nine Months Old

Well, it's about time for some more pictures. Going through them made me realize that a lot happened in the last month. Here are a few things:

• Micah took his first steps on Cam's birthday, just after his Eight Month birthday - I can't believe we haven't blogged that yet. He's still not crawling, but looks like he'll be very mobile, very soon. So far, he's managed to do six steps before falling or reaching his goal, and he's got more confidence than skill, so we really have to keep an eye on him.
• We had a May long weekend trip to the farm, which was a great deal of fun.
• Almost a week ago I was telling Micah to wave "bye-bye", when he waved his hands and said "baa-baa". I wasn't sure if it was coincidence, so I asked him to do it again, and sure enough, he said it while waving. I guess that's his first word :)
• We had a short trip down to Lethbridge for Shayna's convocation
• The boys and I have been working on our little garden. It's all planted, so let's see if we can keep it alive now :)
• After a great deal of sickness, we are all healthy - John had been praying "please help Mommy to feel better and please help Micah to feel better and please..." and go through the whole family. A few days ago he changed it to "Thank you that Mommy feels better and thank you that..." so I guess that reflects how things are at our house.
• On the topic of praying, John prayed tonight "Thank you for Charlie [his cat stuffy]. Help her to feel better and help her to talk.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of now. I will sign off with pictures from May and this last bit of June. Beware: there are a lot.
