A Month of Pictures

Hello all. You have no idea how long it took me to get to where I could post on this site. The commands that I usually use to get me here are all in Arabic!! I've figured it out now, obviously, so we should be okay.
First, here are some pictures from the last month. They uploaded over night without problems, so hopefully we should be able to keep this up for you.
John and I went to check out an Arabic preschool today. I'm not really big on sending three year olds to school, but when I found there was one where he could learn Arabic...wouldn't that be so cute?? We can put him in for up to a week as a trial when the next term starts. He didn't seem all that interested when we first got there, but then he saw the computers and was sold. We'll see what happens. He's been starting on Arabic already. He'll say thank you in Arabic whenever people do things for us when we're out and about, and then run back to me with this proud/embarrassed look on his face. It's pretty cute.
Micah is changing as always. I've started his "words to this point" list and am up to 21 words. Since I've been compiling the list, he has surprised me with words that I didn't know he could say, so I think we're into the new-word-every-day phase. It's fun. He loves to play "repeat after me". He's still a little clown, and does things that he thinks we think are funny, like putting his one shoulder up to his ear and side-stepping towards us. He's almost catching air when he tries to jump, too, which is pretty cool.
Anyway, I feel like I've given out more information today than is reasonable. If you're on our mailing lists, you'd better get your reading glasses on and set aside an hour :) Have a great day!
Amy

Yaaaaay! for amazing pictures! A rough and pointy terrain with so much vibrant color to frame it. The scarves and windows and tapestries are lovely.

And already people to call "friend."

It's great that you are settling in! The boys are obviously doing well and that means you will both be happy. I hope that Christmas is special to you, even though you are away from family. Noah sends the boys a big cuddle and I miss you.
Love Kim

Nice to see you folks getting around Yemen. Say, have you had any salmon over there? Hear it is great stuff from the Wadie.
