Two and a half weeks to go

I feel like I've been on the computer for the last month, but somehow I have missed updating the blog. We've been as busy as the proverbial one-armed paper hanger as we get ready to go on our adventure. We leave in two and a half weeks, and will be away for a whole year. I'm not sure what we'll be doing with this blog while we're away. It depends on what kind of internet connections we have. We will, however, be keeping up faithfully on our newsletter, so if you aren't already receiving them, let us know and we can add you on and keep you updated on our time away.

Now, what's new with my little boys? Here are some pics from the last month and a half. Micah is getting more and more words - most of them start with "b" and are unrecognizable to anyone but us (and sometimes even us. Cam has been telling me for three weeks that "bow" means "down", but I didn't make the connection until a couple of days ago). I leave the baby gates open most of the time now, as Micah has become proficient at going up and down stairs - only two major crashes so far. He's also learned how to open one of them, so it sort of defeats the purpose. John is continuing on being our little John. I've started getting those emerging reader books for him from the library and he really likes reading them, though he always prefers it if I read to him.

It's way too late, so I'd better go to bed. Enjoy the pics.
