This is the blog of John and Micah and David Epp. They are all very advanced for their ages, so you might want to check this regularly to see what they are up to.

Some Pictures and Videos (Again)
Hello everyone. Exciting times ahead. On Saturday I am officially half-way through my pregnancy. Last night and this morning I felt baby moving for sure (I thought I did a couple of weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure now that it wasn't. Last night felt just like it did with John).
In other baby news, we had our 18-20 week ultrasound this morning. It was so cool to see our little baby moving around - opening and closing a fist, obviously drinking... It just makes me think of that verse in Psalms that says "you knit me together in my mother's womb". He is just this perfect little person with a personality already:)
No, we didn't find out the gender of the baby. I just automatically think we're having a boy because John consistently says he's getting a brother. Since he was the one who told me I was pregnant in the first place, I'm putting a little stock in his higher connection. Not all things, though: when I asked him what the baby's name was, he said "Russ". Nice name, but it just doesn't ring with me for our baby.
What has John been up to? He loves Charlie the cat, but is increasingly rough with her. This morning he was sitting on her while she was eating her breakfast. She is surprisingly gentle with him - I know she usually scratches or bites when she's had enough, and she hasn't been anything but nice to him. Charlie goes home tomorrow, taking a lot of John's entertainment from the last week with her. Here are a few cat videos for you from the first day we had the cat:

Video 3-oops. This one is of John playing Dance Dance Revolution
Potty training is slow. I have certain times of the day that I throw him on the toilet, and then we put him on if he says anything. So far we're averaging one useful potty time a day, but sometimes he does try but nothing happens. Other times he's just too distracted looking at himself in the mirror. We are making progress, though, and diaper consumption in decreasing.
John is enjoying having friends. Last week we went over to play games with some friends. Their sons (3 of them) were totally interested in John and played with him for 3 hours straight. At one point I had to take off John's shirt because he was sweating profusely. Then, some girls from church that LOVE John came over to spend the morning of their school holiday with John. I got tons of work done and John pretty much giggled the entire time they were here. He didn't even want to have any food because he was too busy playing with them.
Anyway, I should get going. Here are some pictures from a week or so ago. Have a nice day.
Amy
